Look guys, why does that matter? Is there a requirement that I missed on the home page that says you MUST be a biomass burner to contribute to this forum? Of course you might consider it hypocritical to be lecturing on how to save the planet when you don't bother to remove your own gas burner. You have made the point, let's move on.

I realize that some here can be arrogant and offensive. Maybe we have very different opinions regarding politics, environmental protection, individual rights, economics, and government in general. Still, adding more personal attacks doesn't help.

OK, that's it, sorry for preaching, I won't do it again.

Obviously he heats with................Friction............yes from all of us that question his ability to respond to questions or facts that fly in the face of his beliefs.
It warms him from his fingers touching the computer, to his low efficiency heart, where the residual heat finally tries to melt his frozen brain.

He heats with the CH4 that is generated on this subject.
Countryside 3500P (pedestal version) used 10 yrs, 24/7 during days requiring heat. All original motors. Burns moldy corn, and pellets equally well. Burn it if you got it.

Label it under "RESPECT".
MOST of us are open about how we heat our homes.

Rising Seas Will Affect Major U.S. Coastal Cities by 2100

The Gulf and southern Atlantic coasts will be particularly hard hit, research predicts. Miami, New Orleans, Tampa, Fla., and Virginia Beach, Va. could lose more than 10 percent of their land area by 2100....

Is that so? What about this timely article.......

www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2010/feb/...ence-retract-siddall
Scientists have been forced to withdraw a study on projected sea level rise due to global warming after finding mistakes that undermined the findings.

The study, published in 2009 in Nature Geoscience, one of the top journals in its field, confirmed the conclusions of the 2007 report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). It used data over the last 22,000 years to predict that sea level would rise by between 7cm and 82cm by the end of the century........
Announcing the formal retraction of the paper from the journal, Siddall said: "It's one of those things that happens. People make mistakes and mistakes happen in science."
