no need to count today

All it takes is enough folks to stand and make him a ONE TERM wonder.

when the time comes.
Paradoxical Quote of The Day From Ben Stein:

"Fathom the Hypocrisy of a Government
that requires every citizen to prove
they are insured.... but not everyone
must prove they are a citizen.

Obama was more interested in hope for Egypt, says they had to listen to the people, maybe he sould take his own advice, and listen to American people, we can only hope he is gone in 2 years, back to where he came from.change, change change.

Everybody expects everything to be fixed over night. Doesn't happen that way. The other issue to consider in regards to Egypt, Hosni Mubarak was in power for 30 years.

With his approval rating way above Bush and unemployment dropping I don't see a revolt anytime soon.

I am a little surprised at the inference to the current president. While I too do not agree with his decisions in the Egyption issue I am concerned about the thoughts of removal by public protest. Fortunitely we live in a Democracy where we allow dissent but not carried as far as done in Egypt. I also was in the Armed Forces and when we trained for crowd control I was glad I never was called on to do that. Many countries have the setup as is in Egypt where the Elected Government is on equal footing with the Military and wishes of the elections. (Fair or Not) That is why we have seen so many coups and overthrow of governments by the Military. I for one like our way of handling things by vote and the Mlitary not such a force in the democratic process. I have been in the Armed Forces where if you voted and lost your life was in jeopardy. Here at least you can go on and vote again.

I am not happy how the bail out happened but on the other hand we had limited options and this way of bailing out banks worked in Reagan years for the S&L problems but this was bigger by 10 to 20 times in size. I guess using a plan that worked in the past was better than doing nothing and let bonds dive and have unemployment go to levels never seen in history.
As far as the stimulus goes it did not do as they said but it saved my job so I can't really gripe. Without it higher unemployment and less corn stoves.

Listening to Michael Savage is just as bad as just watching Crimson News Network (CNN), as Michael Savage calls it. Personally I think a lot of people watch, listen, or read one thing. Then because they saw it, read it, or heard it, it is true. Me personally I read a lot of newspaper, listen to various radio programs and watch different news channels. I do all this to get different perspectives on others thoughts. Everything is going to have some truth to what they report, it's just how far are they going to slant it to the left or right. It drives my wife nuts at times with all the news that I watch and read, and she tells me "you already have heard about this". I tell her the same thing, I do it to get different perspectives and then make up my own mind on issues. I do this with everything I have an interest in. I might ask ten different people the same question and see what they say, and again I make up my own decision.
