Hello All,

I found this interesting article on Canola production in Missouri: www.jeffersoninstitute.org/pubs/canola.shtml

Since fuel will be going up in coming years Canola Oil for fuel may be an interesting option. Pioneers from this forum with Canola experience may want to chime in on this article/discussion.

If anyone has information on processing equipment cost please chime in. What would it cost to setup a very basic system to process Canola seed?

Burnsalot (A Canola Celebrity/Movie Star) I'm sure you will find the above article interesting.

Wow!!! That is absolutely Awesome Burns!!! I may have to make it up to your neck of the woods just to see this awesome operation and canola first hand.

What would be a good entry level crusher to think about? I've got William Kemps book on Biodiesel and see a lot of great information.

A friend asked me if the newer tractors have problems with Canola Bio-diesel? He was commenting on ther newer engines and their injectors. My old dodge Cummins 96 has the old style injectors at 90.00 each so I may have a good vehicle to begin testing with.

Thanks!!
