I have the " once bitten twice shy " approach to lazy, badly done work...which is kind of why I came here. Ive learned more about my furnace from forums and blogs than this guy did from whatever training he had...and aparently general business profssionalism or even just sheer common sence cant be tought to some ppl. It really frustrating that after much searching and many dead ends, hes the only dealer that has parts for the 7500.

Maybe that's because like you no one wants "his " parts Welcome Krissyg6

Sure cornking, that would be great! And thanks to all for the valuable info and a "warm welcome" ( ha ha ha, couldnt resist) . As I feared , the old burnpot finally bit the dust....came home from work to find it nearly in peices and all my fuel falling straight to the ashpan. And I think its past the point of more patching and plugging. RIP.....I think some of you will find this amusing

Where in Michigan are you? I'm in Perry and use Woods and sons in williamston. Great people and I'm sure they have parts.

UPDATE: I found my parts!! Homestead heating in Middleton had what I needed and fast! Tiny little place in the middle of nowhere. The only downside.....The brickboard broke in about 4 peices when I put it in. That was 60 bucks down the crapper and I'm pretty mad at myself right now Is there anything I cam use to put it back together? Will the high temp type tube cement work?

Krissyg6, I been following your thread and understand your frustration with the 7500. When I bought mine years ago, I was quite disappointed burning straight corn, since it had clinkers knocking around the firepot and the stirrer was so filled that it was a drum instead of fingers. The stirrer also creates a lot of fly ash. Using oyster shell was the only way I could make it usable with corn. As the price of corn went up I blended 50% corn to 50% pellets and the clinker and fly ash went down. To me, the furnace runs best on 100% pellets.

A clinker pot will burn corn far better, but when AES built the 7500, they wanted more btu's than the 6500, and achieved that with a higher feed rate and the stirrer. Going without the stirrer will eventually flood the pot. A few have successfully made a clinker pot, which is deeper, but if I remember correctly, they can only run the furnace on the lower feed settings. I had thought about making a clinker pot back when I burned corn, but with pellets cheaper, I love the way the stirrer burns them completely.

I have no idea whether furnace cement or any other adhesive would fix your back board, but it seems the most you would lose would be the cost of the glue.

Krissyg6, sorry to hear about your bad experience with the "repair" person. That's a worst nightmare for a product company. I have a saying for people like that; "I've seen stumps smarter than that." What a piece of work.
Glad to hear you found some parts. Sorry about the backer board. The original ones were pretty fragile and I doubt there is any way you can hold the pieces together. Mine is going on 10(?) years old and is in two pieces right down the center but they mesh and I haven't touched it in years. I did order a new one through my dealer and his secretary delivered it. It's still in the box, I think under the living room couch so if the old one finally falls apart I have a replacement. It is a cast board, not like the old one so it should last.
Countryside 3500P (pedestal version) used 10 yrs, 24/7 during days requiring heat. All original motors. Burns moldy corn, and pellets equally well. Burn it if you got it.

Good morning all! I am sooo happy to report that since I put in the new parts and babied this beast with a thorough cleaning its been working like a charm! I havent heard a peep out of my gas furnace in 2 days and even just running on the #2 heat setting, my 2600 sq ft is staying between 71-75 degrees and using way less fuel...close to 40 lbs a day less! My parents came for a visit and were shocked that my bio-beast was heating so well by itself! Take that gas company! Im kinda curious to see how itll do with straight pellets since my local TSC store has them on sale this week.... A HUGE shout of THANKS to all the warm and friendly burners who've shared their knowledge and experience!

Hi Krissy and welcome to the forum
I found that premixing the corn in large trash can you get a better mix the trying to mix in the hopper I would dump in a 5 gal bucket of corn an 1/2 bucket of pellets and then mix up in trash can with a feed scoop and so on and so on untll trash can was full and then that way you get a little better mix and then I transfer it back to 5 gal buckets and transfer to the stove I have a USSC 6039 so you are only talking 40 to 60 Lbs of mix per day or less depending on the temps
and 2 --6 oz cans of oster shell per load spread between the layers of corn pellet mix and this would take care os the clinkers

from the thumb of mich I have an asst of auger and agitator motors on hand and some other parts for Ussc Stoves I'm not a dealer I have spare parts on hand to help out other stove owners in the area when there stove breaks
I just want to Ride
