TOPIC: Hello everyone

Hello everyone 4 months, 1 week ago #17302

Morning everyone I’m new to the site and this is my second post. As a guest I’ve checked the site many times looking for comments or suggestions. I have to say it is nice to see a site where people are still helpful and kind. After 23 years in Phoenix, Arizona I moved back to the Green Bay, Wisconsin area to raise my two boys in 2002. The farm house I purchased had a old Dovetec furnace (I've yet to see another one like it) in the basement that did not work. I moved it out to the barn and played with it until I got it working again. You can’t burn corn stalks which broke the auger pin. I just purchased another corn furnace but I’m not sure about the model or how to find it. It is a ldj a-maize-ing heat pellet/corn furnace. I’m currently dismantling it for cleaning and repainting.

Welcome from Illinois. Probably not many corn furnaces in Arizona huh
You can pour syrup on poop, but that don't make it pancakes.

Welcome. There are quite a few people here by Green Bay that use wood pellets or biomass to heat with. I am located about 15 miles west of Green Bay. Hope your new project goes well for you.
