hi guys! just popped in to let you know the ole bixby has been running flawlessly for this whole burn season, so far. we are now burning a 75% corn 25% hardwood pellets mix. its amazing what the corn does! we are getting 24 hours out of a hopper full of the corn/pellet mix, with the stove set on 6. this is pretty good, right? I was lucky to get 10-12 hours out of a hopper full of just pellets! my only complaint is the corn seems much harder to light.

I'm using a torch to light. new igniters are not worth the coin, IMO.
