Hey guys. I've searched the Wiki and I can't find the posts on the bearings for the auxillary fan (the 110's third fan). The fan just started that lovely up/down oscillating speed & sound yesterday during cool down. Remember, this is the fan that we had hardwired a few years back (cools the inner workings of the stove) and have to unplug the stove to shut off totally. Can anyone tell me what bearings...and where to get them? Thanks in advance!!

Does the motor have folded over tabs which holds the stator and end bells together? If it does, that would be the most difficult part (they break). It is likely a lubricated bronze or sintered bronze bearing. They take a little bit of work to identify but they should be replaceable.

Glad that you're back in biz, Steady.

I notice that the WIKI doesn't have anything on the aux exh fan.

If someone can provide me a bit of information on this fan, I'll see about getting it into the WIKI. It's only for the 110, right? It's purpose is to keep the exh fan cool? Why don't the other stove models have an aux fan? Their exh fans are different and therefore don't need aux cooling? Etc etc?

the ax fan is only on 110, the plenum on 115 has cutouts that supply air to ex fan to keep it cool, they should be checked fairly often on 110 as they get tight and lock up, then no cooling to ex fan, almost have to take right panel off to check, with stove running

Thanks, Blume. I got around to adding your bit of wisdom to the WIKI here:
