Well I took a chance and bought a 115 with the exhaust pipe. Anything I should do when moving it and hooking back up? Also can I hook a remote thermostat up?

throw out pipe unless it is good , check for holes, you can do a thermostat, not sure what you are using, take out jumper on thermostate block hook up thermostat to those terminals
bixby piping is notorious for trouble

Good luck with your 115. Absolutely hook a thermostat up to it. Plenty of info on this site to make it work.

I got the stove home tonight. Looks to be in good shape very clean has only burnt wood pellets.Pipe all looks like new. It does look like there is some soot on the air intake of the cap like it pulled exhaust back in the air intake? Anything I should look for before installing?

Congrats, Cardo.

To confirm prior soot intake, remove the ash drawer and check for soot inside the large flex hose in the back. Either way, not much you can do about it now except ensure that you have proper exhaust connections.

Enjoy your stove.

Scroll down from here to see pics of "stretch cap" designs, including Blume's winner. All of these designs provide greater separation of exhaust and intake air.

Yes, go short and straight if you can. The stove is certified for straight-out configuration. See the manual, available here:
