These random 2 & 3 errors have been haunting me since getting the stove 5 years ago. Just starting this morning, my wife told me my 115 (burning wood pellets) shutdown and displayed a 2 & 3 error. When I got home, restarted a few times and it just kept happening. It will startup fine, a couple minutes into startup all lights will blink, 3 sec on/3 sec off. After a minute or two it will come out of that and burn fine for 7 or 8 more minutes then abruptly do an ash dump, shutdown and display the 2 & 3 error. It only displays the 2 & 3 error after shutdown, nothing immediately before??? I have disassembled everything in the hopper to clear away all pellet dust (this has fixed it in the past), cleaned the vent(this has fixed it in the past), increased the feed to get a richer burn(this has fixed it in the past), but I am still getting the error. Any advice or is there a way to get around what causes any 2 & 3 errors? I am running Bixcheck if that helps.
Thanks in advance guys.

make sure feed wheel seal is ok, also gasket under top plates, maybe try different pellets, switch on wood?

Feed wheel seal is new this season, still looks good. Plate gasket is also new this season. I am burning the same pallet that I have all season, although I will swap those out tonight, just to give it a try. I have gotten the 2 & 3 many times in the past, but it has always given me the error for a few minutes before shutting down. I can't reason why it would do an immediate ash dump, start the shutdown and give me the error all at the same time. I may also try to reset all settings via Bixcheck tonight.

Check the thermo coupler wire to be sure it isn't loose on the board -upper right corner of board wire is stiff brown one with a flag. Look to be sure it isn't loose where it goes into the exh system. That wire is notorious for getting loose on the board.

Yes, good to check the TC wire if the stove doesn't make it out of startup mode.

If that doesn't do it, consider using Bixcheck to collect a log file from the time you hit the start button to the time of shutdown. You can post the log and dat file in this thread.
