Hi, anyone ever have an ignitor come back to life? before I switched stoves I had one out had tested it with the ohm meter and it failed, moved the stove and it came back to life? any idea's?
Been running a Bixby since 2006, I really like it and hope to keep it going for a long time!

may have bumped enough for element to go back together, , bump it around with ohm meter connected see if it stays

It could be that the wire got loose in one of the pins in that white plastic end. Pull on each wire and if its loose you will find out. You can use the right size finishing nail to reopen the pin then recrimp and insert it back in the connector. Otherwise I think Radio Shack may also have the right size pin.

Thanx I thought maybe something like that had happened, a lucky bump, like with an old light bulb and filament. I know it wasn't the connector, had conducted an ohm test on it so I know it wasn't the plug, the wire was in there good, even wiggled it a bit just to make sure there was contact in the socket, thanx for the idea anyways.
Been running a Bixby since 2006, I really like it and hope to keep it going for a long time!
