I bought my bixby model 115 in 2006 and have never upgraded the software. Can anyone give me the pinout on the db9 side of the connector. I found the software at bixby downloads and the stove side pinout on the wiki site. I'm sure i'll have more questions once i figure the cable out.

DB9 side is standard RS232 used by computers so you should be able to find it on the web. The stove side is NOT standard RS232 and you need an adapter or you will damage the stove. Levels there are TTL.

I have updated the WIKI at forum.iburncorn.com/wiki/index.php/BixbyFAQ#Cable per Mary's post, above. Thanks, Mary.

RS232 can have voltage swings positive and negative approaching 12 or more volts while TTL is a 5 volt system and the data only goes positive.

If you take the cable in the link below and don't use the RTS & CTS wires and switch the connector to the 4 pin molex connector, should this work?
