I have a chance to buy a Harvester at a really great price, however it supposedly needs a new control board. Not a big deal at the price I can get the stove for. I do want to be able to use a thermostat to start and stop the stove automatically in Spring and Fall. Can a harvester with a pre-2011 control board be upgraded with a new version control board or a chip for the older board to do what I want it to?

P.S. - I burn wood pellets only.

The harvester thermostat will only control the
heat from setting #1 low fire to what ever the
heat setting you have it on.
It will not turn on and off.

"A thermostat option is available for the Harvester. Once installed, the thermostat option will adjust the
Harvester burn between Heat #1 (thermostat calls for no heat) and somewhere between Heat#1 and Heat #5
setting (thermostat calls for heat), depending on what homeowner has on set control board."
