Anyone had this before? It cleans when you restart the machine...but once in operational mode.......doesn't happen. Has to be some sort of switch somewhere.

I have a Fahrenheit 50. Cleaning probably starts after a count of auger turns? The perforated plate comes out, a fire starts above it, then the "bulldozer" pushes the old ash away, the plate retracts.

Does yours not start the process? Anything causing the mechanism to jam? Mine, on level 1-3 only does it every few hours it seems. I checked the owner's manual but did not see a way to manually start the process, like my Bixby does.

My Fahrenheit has the latest control board and has a Pot Change option (for user to do it manually, whenever you want).

But the Furnace auto cleans based on Fuel table selection. On Premium pellet (#10) mine auto cleans about every 10 hrs. The lower the fuel selection, the quicker the auto clean (High moisture Corn would be pretty frequently)
