Since it is starting to warm up nicely, cool nights and warm days, I thought I would switch the stove setting to room temp setting, which I never use. I start and run till it gets to hot, then shut it down till it gets cold outside.

So, put in room temp mode and set for 70 degrees, the shop was at 65 degrees yesterday morning. Stove fires up and burns nice and hot and after a while, I notice the fire get smaller and then I hear the fan shut off. It ran with idle fire for a while and then shut off. Later last night, as it was cooling off outside, she kicks on again. I figured with it's 8th season of burning there might be a problem or something, but she ran as designed.

I know there have been a few folks that have had a couple problems with their PC45 from time to time, but knock on wood, I am so glad I picked this stove. 8 seasons and the only maintance was 1 extra set of stir rods, which I seldom use any more and 1 igniter this past fall. That folks is about as problem free as it gets! Glad spring is right around the corner.
