On a Harman PC45 there is a rotary knob that turns the stove on and off. There is a very fine line to find the off position. It seems that as the stove gets older this switch seems to harder to find the "off" position. I have taken the control board out and there is no free play in the switch or that white shaft that is pushed into the actual switch. There is three rotary switches with the same number on the control panel.
My guess is somebody must remove and replace these switches rather then forcing the customer to spend 200.00 for a new control panel. Can anyone provide some advice towards solving this problem?

Thanks John, That was what I was looking for. I knew I had seen it but I guess memory failed me as to what those switches were called.

Yea, I know what you mean by fine line! When turning off my stove, I flip the switch to manual. Seams to help. Still can't complain. 9th season, and only replaced the stir rods once and igniter once last fall (thanks again for that!)
