Well for all intents and purposes I ignore the Karma except to see where poor Sting is. But why the heck does JA have negative Karma? Tallcorn, Corny, Sting, Bluewolf, SteadyWoman, Firepot, Wales, and a whole bunch more contribute a wealth of knowledge and ideas. I personally find their posts to be helpful and entertaining, and quite often way over my head. Anyway, I don't care one way or the other. Anyone who truly needs help and is lucky enough to have any of these fine people comment will realize that the Karma does not define the poster!

You may click the negative button now if you'd like.

I agree with everything you said, plus, I'd like to add that the new people add to the forum. I know that I asked questions that had already been answered when I joined three years ago. I did try and search for most of the problems and questions I had. Most I found, others I didn't, but others that had been on longer new where to point me.
I usually only posted a question when stumped or when I really needed help on a cold winter day/night, without searching.
Every new member brings a new set of questions, how is their stove set up? What stove and model? What are they burning? Nothing is static here, that's the beauty of it.
I will always thank those that have helped me in the past, and I will need help in the future, I just know the day is coming.
I will also try and help those that just started here or give an opinion to those that have been here a long time.
Give me what ever ya want, just give it to me.

hay Sting. You are the man for speaking from the heart.and what you think.Since joining this forum have gotten alot of useful advice, heck even put my 2 cents in. I feel if you like what someone says read it if you don't then don't read it.Just like Global warming what a joke and scam, billions and even trillions of dollars to be stolden from good people by a few rich people in the right places. I think Al Gore sould give back his nobel peace prize for giving false info.Well here I go flapping from my gums again. Jimbob

I never noticed the Karma thing when this new forum started until Sting got started on it. I thought he was trying to commit hara-kiri so I gave him a plus every chance I got but it has a timed limiting feature and sometimes his elevator cable must have broke because he sunk like a rock. I just ignore it now. The old saying is "you don't know who your friends are." quote, "What, me worry?" Alfred E. Newman.

Well, it does appear the - karma is directly related to posting on the ultra-liberal GW threads and the others Occam and cronies rattle their gums in... No one is supposed to have a different opinion...only the liberal bent counts, according to them. Guess I can look forward to my karma dropping again...oh the agony of it all...
