Greetings. The company I bought this from is too busy to give me any real help with this, so I am turning to the experts.
Last year this system ran fantastic. This year has been mild till the past two weeks. I am having issues trying to get the boiler temp to rise beyond 120degrees. I have the Hi,LO and Differential all set to the factory recommended settings Hi set to 200, Lo to 160 and differential at 20. The pilot draft is set at 8 mins, since it seems to lose a pilot flame at 16mins.
Currently, the auger will engage and pellets feed (2 of the 3 cups are feeding) but I can't seem to get the boiler temp over 120. The auger shuts off and it waits 6 mins before feeding again.
I have looked for ways to trouble shoot this L6081A but haven't found anything. Can anyone suggest something, or need to know more information?

*I switched pellets and I may have figured out what my problem is. I'm up to 140 degrees now, so maybe it was old fuel. I have been trying to burn my left over from last year and perhaps these last few bags were too moist? Remains to be seen. All advice is welcome.

I'm not an expert on your boiler but here are some links on troubleshooting it, etc. I wouldn't think old pellets would be wet unless the bags had holes and were exposed to moisture. Are they hard and snap when broken in pieces or are they soft or mushy? I think your boiler tubes needs to be cleaned of ash and soot and a dirty furnace can't produce the heat.

Countryside 3500P (pedestal version) used 10 yrs, 24/7 during days requiring heat. All original motors. Burns moldy corn, and pellets equally well. Burn it if you got it.

Ok, from what you say the boiler is not kicking into high burn mode. When you start up the cold boiler it should feed pellets continuously until it reaches the high set point on the boiler thermostat. If it goes into pilot immediately before reaching that temp then something is wrong. What changed between last year and this year? If the pellets were too moist you would know it as tallcorn said, and that would not cause the boiler to go into pilot mode right away. How is the system wired? Do you use a room thermostat to control the heat?

Since I last typed all of this. I have cleaned the system out from top to bottom, there was no excess ash or build up.
I also checked all of the wires, connections, etc and all seemed to be where I thought they should be.
I did replace the Aquastat since it seemed like perhaps the boiler was being cut off from heating. when i took the old aquastat off it was obvious that maybe not enough thermal conductive compound had been put it or it had broken down. Placed the new unit in, filling the immersion well assembly with compound and angle the sensing bulb at an angle as per Rockwell's directions. I adjusted the unit to 200 degree max 160 degrees min with a 20 degree differential and fired the furnace.
The good news is that the boiler fed all day today and didn't go out. This is an improvement over the last time I posted. However the boiler still just has pellets feed for 2 mins and then just runs the fan for 6 mins for a total of my 8 min cycle time. When the boiler first starts it never feeds for longer than 2 mins, and the high temp never gets above 140 degrees.
From the wiring diagram for the aqua stat I have the jumper in place as per the directions (and the diagram trager has in the owners manual)
Any other suggestions or questions for things I may not have explained well enough? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I should note that I can not find this article Traeger Safety Disc Troubleshooting, and I am not really sure where the safety disc is at, but all start up instructions seem to refer to it.

I found it, forum.iburncorn.com/wiki/index.php/TraegerSolutions:10

It's 4 degrees tonight and the boiler is still not getting up to heat. I'm at a loss for what to do next except call Trager and yell loudly or find a local guy. Just not sure what I am missing

Sounds to me like a bad control board... You could call Frank at Fireside Chatts in Syracuse. Or call Pinnacle directly... They have always been very helpful and may sell you parts directly.

all right -- time to wake up -- where is our host when folks need him????

( as described above) The primary control is in idle fire mode - the vessel will never get up to temp like that - Ill bet you also have a little LED in the middle of the primary control and its flashing

cut power to the appliance

lift the primary control off its box

do you have the two yellow wires connected to the house stat ????

if yes -- un wire and wire them together -- now you will have call for heat at all times and the boiler will not shut down until the temp reaches hi limit or it blows up -- just saying --- be careful this is only a test

restore power and do not leave the area until you rewire the appliance correctly -- I or JA have placed wire diagrams in the wiki for guidance

your mileage may vary

Sting... that is actually what I was eluding to in my previous post when I asked the OP how it was wired and if he used a room tstat to control the boiler, but he never answered that question. I actually have my PB150 wired just as you mentioned and have always had it this way... but that is only because my four heat zones are wired into my oil fired boiler and the PB150's sole purpose in life is to keep that one at temp... i.e. between 160 and 200 deg. In terms of it blowing up... won't happen, as I am sure you already know the boiler shuts down when it starts to over heat and there is supposed to be a relief valve installed on the back in case it goes over 30psi.

I missed that request. Currently I have 3 zones. I also have a propane boiler that sits "in front" of the pellet. But since I cant afford a huge tank of propane it is just sitting there passing the water on to the pellet stove.

I will try the wiring suggestion tonight and watch to see how it work. I will also try to diagram/document as much as I can.

Thank you both for your input
