half burnt pellets are being pulled out of the burn pot.
I block the air intake with a rag and it brought the flame under control
also does the control box vary the speed of the blower?

This stove is 6 years old and just started pulling a lot of unburned pellets out of the pot. The owner just installed a new pot (thinking the holes were getting to big letting to much air threw.) made no difference. I also brought him some different pellets. no different.

Any Ideals? I'm a St. Croix Man So I would just adjust the damper.
Thanks Paul

The control box runs all 3 motors at the same time. The conv. fan, the comb. fan, and the auger motor. Is the pot floor closed all the way? Is the arm bolt tight so pot floor is drawn up tight to pot?. Does the exhaust fan change speeds when you change setting from low to med. to high, to quad? Has the flame height been adjusted lately per owners manual, so as to adjust feed rate? kap

I should of phrased that different. It is the heat output switch that actually runs all three at the same time, thru the control box. It could be nothing more than just bad connections on the switch, or the switch itself. I would start there, and then adjust feed rate when it is working. kap

Ok The hi med low switch will change the convection fan motor speed and feed rate but the exhaust fan stayed the same. My Question is... is the Exhaust fan supposed to change speeds?

Yes, It runs the speed of the conv. fan, the comb. fan, and the auger motor, depending on what setting you have it on. kap

Ok Thank you, I will check the voltage going to the motor but I guess a new control box will be needed.

Still might just be a switch but testing will tell the tale.
