For you guys that want to go to renewable energy for transportation, just build yourself a Wood Burner Truck!! www.driveonwood.com

There was a great article on driving on wood in Moother Earth News earlier this year and featured Mr. Wayne Keith from Alabama. Interesting article!! They have wood gas meet ups around the country so you guys may want to get into this other addiction!!! Neat idea it is of driving on wood. Back during World War II over a million vehicles, tractors, dozers, etc. ran on wood in Europe!!

Stay Warm!

Coal is hot and steady. It's the best for all night warmth and they really make some great stokers now that take very little attention and maintenance. I wish we could get coal down here in Ga. I bring back 400 pounds when I go home to Pa. I have a wood/coal burning cook stove downstairs for when the s...t hits the fan.
The past is only as far away as the last breath you took.

I guess if you had a big gas powered generator, you could set up a wood gas for it and generate electricity on a little bit of wood. That would be sweet!
