Just had a tech come out today and I have the same problem. The tech has seen this once before. He called Quad and they indicated to him that it might be overheating from loose connections (previous motherboard installs). They told him to try to clean the connections as best he could. After doing so, the ignitor didn't work at all.

Price for the install of a new board and connections $699. Is this an ongoing problem? At least three people have had the exact issue. I think it's a design issue.

How did you resolve the issue?

I've seen that before also, as far as I know the only fix is to replace the board. Also have the igniter wire harness with fuses installed while they are at it. Be sure that the control board programming is current (V4.0), so it isn't drawing power for longer then it needs to.
