I have a mt vernon stove , and the convection blower works on and of even when the stove is hot.It would blow air for about 3 or 4 min. then it would turn of.Then it turns back on.Could this be that i have a bad snap disk?

It could be a bad snap disc. Could also be bad connections on the wires. Could be a bad fan. Try jumping the wires together and see if it runs fine then. Remember that there is juice to those wires all the time. Stay in touch. Kap

I jumped the snap disk, while the fan was of , but nothing happened.

Don't jump the disc. Jump the wires. We are trying to see if the fan is good or not.

On my old style Mt Vernon, if I run on the #1 setting my convection blower will continually cycle on and off. Once I switch to 2 or higher the fan will stay on.

Are you running on #1 setting as jd is commenting on? If not, then you either have bad connections, or snap disc is going bad. Kap

No kap , its not running on # 1 setting.It even does it, when i have it on high.Can I have the blower running all the time while I have the wires jumped?

Yes you can,but will work the fan a bit. I would clean up and check the wire ends and tabs on snap disc first to see if that is the problem.
