Hi Everyone,
This seems like a common problem but it may be unique enough.
I have a CB 1200 that has been working great for 16+ years (24/7 from Nov-April every year).
Never had any serious problems (except door gasket, TC cover, fuse, etc)
Two weeks ago we had a power outage and when it came back my CB 1200 kept blowing the fuse everytime exhaust blower motor kicked on. (Motor wasn't siezed or smelled)

I orderred new motor (while waiting, clean old motor thoroughly) and now doesn't blow fuse.
However auger doesn't kick on when move thermostat.

I cleaned vacuum, and vent pipe. Put meter on wires to auger motor and no juice.

Is this the controller? Anything else I can check? This is the old "gray" box with only green/red lights.

Stove was working perfect before power outage.

Could a surge fry the controller? Fuse in controller box is NOT blown.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Did you try jumping the vac wires to bypass the vac switch, to see if it is bad? Jump snap disc #2 wires? And that is an impressive run with that stove with minor repairs! Does the exhaust fan come on when you turn thermostat up? Kap

Thanks for responding,
Been busy last few days. Stove has been cold.
Anyway here's the latest.
I jumped all the snap discss & jumped the vac switch.
Exhaust blower works fine.
The Combustion blower works when I jump the disc.
Feed light comes on when I push the thermostat up.

Still no auger.
I tried running 120v straight to auger motor and popped breaker.
Too much? I thought I had red/white wires correct.
Could auger motor be seized? I can't turn the auger. Should it turn manually?

Thanks

The auger motor is 120v. It could be auger motor. Could be a capacitor too. Could be the control box. Do you know of any one with a Quad stove you can test your box in? Or a dealer?
