TOPIC: auger gear motor failure

auger gear motor failure 2 months, 2 weeks ago #18245

I have an older 6039 3 button stove and the auger gear motor has failed. I have cleaned and tested if 120v was getting to the motor and it is. It is merkle korff 80456 gear motor which I haven't been able to find on the internet other than USSC. From what I have read it is 4.1 rpm gear motor assembly. Any ideas??

Gleason Avery is supposed to be a good replacement motor if they have yours. www.gleasonavery.com/acmotors/index.htm

Amazon is another good place www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=se...%3A80456+auger+motor

Try surpluscenter.com. I bought several gear motors to keep as spares. Price is nice too, like < $20.00.

USSC 6039 with many, many modifications to it.
