Took delivery of a new 1020 boiler today for a friend today

. Only thing somewhere along the delivery route looks like someone tipped the boiler over luckily it was mostly cosmetic damage they did tweak the smoke stack but should be able to straighten it out.Not too happy but will have to file a claim.

Subject: Heatilator PS-50 problems already - by: buckshot721

Well after about 3 weeks of running great, my Ps-50 heatilator is on the fritz.
Shut it down this afternoon to clean it, let it set for about 3 hours to cool. Cleaned it started it back up went upstairs. Temp dropping in the house so I went down to check, the stove was out. Restarted took off, I went back up. Checked it again an hour later stove is out again! This time I reset it an watched it run for about 10 min. Auger just quit feeding an fire went out. Empty out the hopper, nothing stuck in it. Started checking snap disks, only one (out of 3) is not resettable, found that one to have no continuity. (for convection blower)Retested and found blower does not run when started. (no auger and convection blower)Hope I'm on the right track here. Any other ideas?? Off to get a disk in the morning.

Subject: Convert from corn to pellets - by: tomtrike

Hi,

Just joined.

My stove has set empty for several years. Corn is $5 a bushel here!

Has anyone converted their stove to burn pellets? I understand that Amaizablaze has a kit that might work on my Snowflame 2100. Anyone out there with experience? I don't want to spend $357 until I hear what the results will be.

Thanks,

Subject: Need Snowflame Model 2100 Auger Motor - by: corny_in_maine

Would anyone know where I can purchase a Snowflame model 2100 auger motor? I actually only need the auger but haven't a clue how to detach it. All of the dealers here in Maine have disappeared and there seem to be none on the web either. The Snowflame part # is P-0200 in my manual. The auger assembly is manufactured by Merkle-Korff Industries and only the motor itself has a part # on it: 4509UI-046. I've found some sites that say their Amaizablaze parts are likely interchangeable, but all contacts have gone unanswered. Help, please!!

Subject: More Moon Glo Extra parts - Any Clues? - by: truckfarmingcanuck

The new circuit board that I received had some extra pieces that mine did not. My old board had 2 lines that were connected to nothing and it worked fine so I just taped them up and put them off to the side. The new board had this little push button in the place where mine had none.

I traced the line back to the board and they were attached to terminal titled "fuel". Anyone know the purpose of a "fuel" push button?

It looks like this. The board pic did not come out great. It says fuel. Some of the other tabs say things like LED likely for the flashing light on the board, GND and a bunch of other stuff. This button is connected to the fuel tab.

thanks
Subject: Parts and Pieces that do what? Moon Glo Resto - by: truckfarmingcanuck

Well the stove is running but there are some extra pieces that do what???

Anyone have a clue what this little fella does? Looks like something would plug into it? I made the mistake of touching it just right thinking it was a push button and gave myself a zap
