I'm in N.W. Ohio with mine. When I bought mine I couldn't locate one close to see in action.

i have a neighbor that has a maxim, and with this years corn seems to not be burning very clean, lot of bunched up corn, is there a place to download a manual since he doesn't have one anymore to either adjust the fan or feed or both

You may want to read some of the old forum. I believe you may need to turn down the fan speed. The info is in the other boilers section.

Where does he keep the water temp? My dad has one and he was having the same problem. he fixed it by turn down the water temp to 150 degrees

150 sounds kind of low. I think I would call CB and explain your problem to them and see what they have to say. I think mine is set at 174 degrees.

175 but he has too he heats the milkhouse water with it and that needs that temp
last i heard he is using some wood pellets mixed in

Running the water setpoint at 150 is a bad idea, it will lead to premature rusting. CB now recommends that the setpoint be 180, but I do adjust mine down to 172 when it's warm outside (like 60s for highs).
