Subject: Good deals on American Energy Systems stoves - by: GearheadGrrrl

I've no financial interest in the company, but AES just sold me a new 3500P stove and gave me a very good deal- they even matched the lowest price I found for the USSC 6041. They have more stoves in stock, so if you're looking for a new stove and a tax credit, act now!

Subject: Looking at Mt vernon insert - by: kcmusa

Hi, I am new to these stoves and need to help bring down my LP gas bills.
I work with people who have other stoves and they like them. That is why I am looking myself.
I have an open floorplan and think I need a lot of heat. the Mt Vernon seems to have the BTUs to heat the space.
I have been reading all I can on these forums and have gained some good info.
With an insert how hard is it to get in and do the yearly cleaning? Does the insert have to be pulled out?

Subject: New stove - by: buckshot721

Going to be buying another new stove in the very near future. We already have Quadra Fire insert in the upstairs. It heats the upstairs very well, but I want to put one in the basement. I do not want one that's full of chrome and fancy looking. (the basement is not finished anyway) Just a free stander that heats good! And due to my past dealings with Quadra fire and the dealer I bought it from, I would rather stay away from them. Lets just say it was faster for me to fix the stove with it under warranty then the dealer. The factory was no help what so ever. So I need some suggestions on other stoves!!!
