I have an Amaizablaze 4100. I have been burning 100% corn. The clinker, when the stove is running is soft and not solid enough to pickup. When the stove is cold it is like concrete and I have to bust it out.Any suggestions?

Mix a small amount of wood pellets with the corn as it will prevent the clinker from getting that hard. The clinkers dissolve with water if you get a buildup on a agitator.

You need to richen the mix watch your flame should be steady and not oscillating (high to low) over 6 - 8 minute viewing, also oyster shells ground... The calcium carbonate reduces the starch/klinker build up in the firepot and makes the klinker much softer. A little bit goes a long way. The most you should need for a full season of heating a normal sized home is one or two bags.
forum.iburncorn.com/wiki/index.php/Oyster_Shell buy it at most feed stores, still the leaner (hotter) the flame the harder the klinker been battleing it for a while myself. wood pelletys mix will help but I hate the extra cleaning burning wood pellet mix

Welcome ddvahle, How many hours at what setting until you are removing clinker? I don't recall a hot clinker that soft with mine. You should be able to remove hot and keep on burning by dumping loose top and removing hot hard bottom. I used to go 8 hrs on high fire, 12hrs on med fire and 24 hrs on low fire. Never had a soft clinker but many hard ones. I made hangers that helped and pellet mix
made better fire and better everything including window cleaning. Maybe waiting alittle longer will give you a firmer clinker to work with.
