I decided last minute not to build an elevated air tight bin, and instead use a drum to transfer so i could put a lid on top when finished and easily scoop the corn out.

After framing the lid, I've realize I can probably make it air tight with a gasket and still keep it on the hinges for removal, so I'll be playing with that this weekend.

Picked up a ton of corn this weekend. Bin is 83,000 cubic inches about 1.25 tons. Took about an hour and a half to transfer, but it is a little dirty. Going to experiment adding a second shop vac to the corn vac.

Take a bow, Allenelson. That's a very nice job, and a great video. The barrel adds to the rise, so it would be expected to slow your transfer a bit. Still, your 28 lb / minute is quite respectable, and you don't have to worry about keeping your plywood bin sealed. Your present transfer rate is close to ideal for moving and for cleaning. Much faster rates wouldn't lend to good cleaning. I think you struck a good balance, so I repeat, take a bow!

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments, but truth is I put this together from looking at the pics I found mainly on this site where good ideas were already born. Great source of information here.

The 2nd vac isn't so much for speed but the actual cleaning. The fines that are still in the corn are microscopic almost, so they shouldn't have any problem going through the screen unless the corn is moving too fast.. I'm going to experiment adjusting the intake air first, but also play with the 2nd vac. More posts to come, thanks again.
