Press cake is worth way to much as feed to burn. For now I can get a tractor trailer load of chipped shipping pallets delivered for $775. A cousin is in the pallet refurbishing business and they run their waste wood through a big grinder. There is a lot of waste wood that needs a good home. Over time I am sure some other fuels will find their way into the chip bin.

ARGlock, I do not have any good info on your area. We have planted Virginia, Sitro, and Hornet. I can give you contact info for a seed company in KY that is very helpful.

That would be great Burns!!! I would like to plant some test plots and see how it does in our region. I ran across a regional study on Canola and posted it in another section here on the site. My brother sold a piece of land to a Soy Bio-diesel processor. Currently due to the higher price of soybeans, the facility is just sitting there. Really sad it's not being used. All with 55,000 gallon Papst Blue Ribbon tanks and all!!!!

Just PM the seed company name or post it and I can do a search for it.

Thanks,

AR

Thanks for the clip, Burnsalot. You sure know how to do things right.
