For the second year I have gone straight pellets and loving it . They are cleaner and a lot less trouble than corn . I have extended the room temp probe on my PC 45 by ten feet just around the corner from my stove where it no longer blows on it and it is like a totally different stove keeps 2000 sq foot ranch style house at 72 degrees very comfortable

I have to clean the "ash mountain" at least twice a day. May give it a try with the corn pot. Might be less messing around with it.

I have the pellet pot, but if I am burning a mix with corn, I like (and have been using) the corn pot with the pellet end plate. May just switch tonight and put the stir rod in for a while. Thanks

With decent pellets you can burn close to a ton before dumping the ash bucket.

I have swapped it over and seems to be working great.

Rona - I have been noticing that when I turn the fan control to adjust the fan speed, once it's up to temp, or has been running for hours, it wants to kick into igniter sequence. Is the fan pot. warn out or esp probe? Any ideas?
