I am just wondering what you are burning and if it is not corn where do you get it from. I am wondering about pellets or cherry pits or whatever. I have heard cherry pits are better than corn like they burn cleaner and have more btus. I am interested, but the only place I can find them in bulk is in Michigan. Also I am interested in pellets. Where is the best place to get them? I for sure want bulk packaging and I have no idea where to get them. I used to get corn from my dad, but with the corn prices the way they are he is not so willing to supply me and I don't blame him. He is even installing a HE LPG furnace instead of burning corn ike he has been for the last 10 years or so with a kernel burner. He is also interested in other fuels. Thanks

Most access to bulk pellets is close to the factories. Usually, you have to buy bagged. They come 50, 40lb. bags to a pallet. Most big box stores carry them. Best time to buy is in late summer, or when ever they have a sale. Some stove dealers sell them too. Kap

I have found the best deals to be at Menards when they have them on sale. There used to be two factories up in NW. Iowa. I think one closed, and moved to Waterloo, and the other burned down. One was Fuel King, and the other was Marth.
