Hi burnsalot, always was envious of the size of your burn pot on the old forum.

That black crud you posted pics of, you said it wasn't sticky. Was it hardened by the time you removed it, like a plastic? Also, did you ever try and ignite it with a torch? I'm guessing it was hard because you said it wasn't sticky and that if you tried to ignite it it would probably crumble once reheated.
