You already know the answer to that question...unfortunately. Do you really know that the other oil was not protecting as well? It might be good stuff.
You can pour syrup on poop, but that don't make it pancakes.

No, but I must not be willing to take chance. I just meant for example if motors last 10 years would they have lasted 12 with Anderol 465 from beginning? Unprovable.

Just make sure the entire shaft is lubed well. Don't want any friction heat.

tfg... Ya, I don't know how long the metal will stand all that heat. We'll see. If I have to buy 1 a month, that's not so bad at $3-$4. My guess is that it will last most of the season.


I notice that the upright part is away from ends alittle. First thing I thought was I'll stretch to fit when mine come but your wire isn't burning up like I thought it would. I'm now thinking that being away from incoming air may be putting them in a cooler spot, not burning them up. I still may stretch mine but not till I try normal size first. The uprights will be the first to quit so I made me some stainless sleeves to go around my uprights to see if I can prolong use even longer
