Great idea! Would be sturdier and removable. I like it.
You can pour syrup on poop, but that don't make it pancakes.

You could also use a 1/4' x 6' pipe nipple to run wire through to aid in bending and save your hands Better yet you could make enough for both of us

Oh, they work, just not at the highest temps. I'll be using them when temps mellow alittle like today.

Wow... that was fast. I guess it comes down to 1 masher every three weeks or a new mesh applied after every clinker. Decisions decisions. You are running a really hot fire. Hotter than I expected.
