I have my bags of pellets stored inside but I'm still getting moisture on the outside of the bags and the window on the stove gets a hazy coating when used. They are off the groung on wood pallets. Does anyone have a work-around to this problem. Maybe leaving a fan running?

Hi Ernie, I've had some moisture on bags when bringing in from cold to warm house but it's temporary and doesn't get to pellets.

I picked up two tons from Menards, and it was a warm day, after being real cold. The bags started to sweat on the outside, the closer to the middle of the pallet, but the pellets are bone dry on the inside and burn just fine. I wiped them off with a paper towel as I was stacking them.

Good Morning.
I have mentioned this before but here is again. I buy total # corn and Pellets for year. Have pallets which I place plastic on top of them and then place the bags on top of the plastic. Cement in garage varies with moisture before the cold winter freeze so am sure some moisture is in air.
After hard freeze, transfer corn and pellets (after cleaning) to house in 5 gall pails.
Being in house seems to dry out what ever moisture is present before use.
I checked the moisture in the garage all the time. Even in winter (Unattached garage) the moisture level in the garage is off the gauge. Never Low.
All that being said, seems not to penetrate the bags of corn and pellets. (Note corn bags aare I think Breathable type cloth and Pellets are plastic with small holes.
The bags feel moist when I pick them up but does not seem to affect the corn and pellets.
If your corn is in house as you said then assume there was moisture while in storage before purchase.
Maybe if you open up the bags before use might help.

I'm 1/2 way into a pallet that has been outside but under roof since 9/12 with weather bag only and it is burning fine. I don't recommend this (disclaimer), I'm just saying.

I think you are seeing typical condensation -nothing to woryy about. If you dump corn or pellets into your stove direct from outside or a cold building you could see condensation in your stove. Most stove companys tell you to let the fuel warm up before dumping it into the stove. If you used to burn wood you might remember the wood burned slower until it warmed up. Same thing.
