Hey, I also am in central Indiana. I buy my corn at the Cloverdale Agriculture Center. If you tell them it's for a corn stove, they will bag up clean corn for you at no extra charge. Has a lot less fines and trash in it. They also offer grain bank where you can buy all of your corn for the whole winter and they will store it for a very small fee. They are also open on Saturday. Not sure if this helps you or not but thought I'd let you know.

sorry, I forgot, we are also getting smoke in the house if it's above 2. I assume this is from the corn burning back up into the hopper.

I have a cornglo 5000, basically the same as the 4100. If I turn the feed above 2, the flame starts going back up the chute and clogs the feed tube. I have already replaced the combustion motor. It acts like it's not getting enough fresh air but the airways are all clean. Pretty sure the tube in the chute is clean. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
