Does the stove kick out when you burn pellets. Sounds like a clinker jamming your augers.

Well I finally found my smoke leak. I had to replace the stove pipe and when I took it apart I found a cobbled up mess. The installer had shoehorned an adapter between two pipes and there was a 1/2 inch hole there. Now I have brand new pipes and the only smell I had when I lit it up was sulfur from the match.
I'm wondering what flaw my wife will find next in the stove LOL.

Is there any way you could add about 1/8 inch to the existing gasket? I checked the gasket where I could get access and it seems OK. Thanks for the info though.

Well it's good to hear these machines are still kicking. I just fired mine up on pellets a while ago and it was leaking smoke. My wife is tired of the stove and wants me to take it out but I'm still determined to make it work right. I found that I can't run it on level 1 because the combustion air suction is not enough to keep the smoke from coming through the door gaskets. If I run it any level higher it runs fine. This is really the first time I've run it on pellets and I like the heat it kicks out. Burning corn I never got this amount of heat.
Anyway our gas prices are way down and I don't run it much and I haven't seen many posts in the forum so I was wondering if Europa buyers had moved on to something better.
Anyway Happy New Year and good burning.
