Thanks Kap. Is there a place on line that has an owners manual? I can not find mine.

I have a quadrafire santa fe that is blowing the fuse by the control box. After starting it up, the auger did not kick on, now it is blowing fuses. After changing the fuse, it popped the breaker. Any ideas as to what is causing this?

Took the exhaust fan out and cleaned it very good. The exhaust tube that had some ash build up, which appears to be the problem.

Cleaned it out good last week during the warm weather here in central Iowa. It is burning on all speeds now. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions!

Thanks Kap. Oh well, it is a nice day to shut it down and clean it good. One more question, my gasket between the exhaust fan and the stove is also getting bad, can I use anything else? Perhaps high temp silicone?

Is there an easy way to clean the exhaust fan chamber, besides taking the fan out in the back?

it is not the control box. I borrowed one from a friend and it did the same thing, would feed for a cycle or two and then shut down. I will try the other suggestions this weekend.

Another question, can the exhaust fan motors be rebuilt? Mine is starting to sqeek.

mornin kappel15, yes the fans go up, it will feed for a cycle or two and then quit feeding pellets and act like it is shutting down. I used to be able to keep it going by hitting the reset button after a few times, however it will do the same thing,a couple of cycles and then shutdown. The stove is a 2004. Thanks in advance for any help.

My santa fe will run continuously on low, however if i kick it up to medium or high it will feed a few cycles and then shut down. Any ideas as to what this could be?
