So... if I am burning it on low with a flame height of -1 vs on high with a flame height on -1- would I burn the same amount of pellets then but get more heat? I'm confused.

I do think the sunflower setting gives the most heat however I have a different question-
The flame height is basically your feed rate correct?
What does running it on low vs medium-low vs medium vs medium-high vs high do? Seems like I get about the same temp coming out regardless and was just wondering, thanks.

That is a nice insert! I have started to look at some, did you install it yourself?
Next winter should be extra warm i'm thinking- wish i didn't need to but I see no other way. Well worth it in my opinion anyway.

Anyone know how/where I can get some leg levelers? The installer NEVER put them on and i'm not real happy about it but... I was thinking about getting some for it if I could find them. Anyone know, i'm having trouble finding them online.

I don't have room for anything but an insert on the upper floor but I really could use something more for that level. But thank you for your input.

Just wondering if anyone had suggestions. I have a Quadra Fire Mt Vernon Ae now but would would like to get an insert for the upper floor. Just not sure what to get and I am looking (probably for next year now). I do like how the Mt Vernon AE can be hooked up to a thermostat and would like the insert to be able to do the same.
Please let me know suggestions that work well and what you like, thanks.

Thank you for replying Kap (knew you would)- How do I pull the Vaccum hose off? I don't think i'm sure where that is, I did take off the one motor and vaccumed inside there pretty well, cleaned the stove (including the heat exchanger and openings).
I did not stick a wire down the nipple of the drop chute (i'm assuming you mean to let the pellets get low and do if from up top?).
The exhaust pipe will be something I clean next just hoping I didn't have to go there until the season was over (I did clean it pretty well this summer but who knows with burning that wheat).

I'm going to have to order a new one and see but is this common? I tried wheat (wish I never did) and ever since (no matter how well I try to clean the machine) I get a vaccuum switch error off and on.
Any ideas? or advice?
