I have an Endurance 50F.

I have tried all the heat settings 1-5, all the draft settings, 1-5, and all the auger settings to come up with a combination that will heat my 900 square foot ranch.

Right now, I am on heat setting 3, auger setting 3, draft setting 3. I have a thermometer in the plenum and I am getting 100 degrees.

Prior to these setting, I was using Heat setting 1, auger setting 5, and draft setting 3. I was still getting 100 degrees.

It seems to burn fine enough on heat setting 1. When I switch to heat setting 2 or 3, when the pellets drop. it dampens the flame level a bit. I have tried to adjust the draft settings also, but this really does not do any good. Just tried heat setting 4, draft setting 3, auger 3. The plenum temp is 120 degrees ( I have a small thermometer that I stuck thru so that it is inside the plenum / have a register style vent on the face of the planum )

On setting Heat level 2, it burns about 1.5 bags per day. Maybe 1.75

I was told this was only a 50,000 BTU furnace, and you will not get a lot of heat out of it unless you crank it to a heat setting of 4.

It is not cost effective to have me burn 2 bags per day. I may as well just use my gas furnace and not have any cleaning or maintenance to do.

I did have a local dealer come out to look at it to see if he had any ideas. He had none. All he said was the 2 fans were operating ok, and in his opinion did not need any further cleaning of the exhaust fan. I specifically had him come out to rule out the possibility of the exhaust fan being bad.

Right now it is 20 degrees outside. I do have fresh air vent comming in from the outside. My pipe from the top of the 50F to the plenum of the gas furnace is only about 4 feet, and is heavily wrapped with insulation. I was thinking I should be getting more heat than I am getting into the plenum.

Ideas please ????

Thanks in advance.

If I run mine on a 3 heat setting, it goes through 2 + bags is 24 hours. Does this seem correct ? I have the auger on factory seting 3 and the draft is factory setting 3.

If I run on a 2 heat setting, I burn 1 1/2 bags in 24 hours

I bought a Fahrenheit F50 Endurance and was hoping I would be able to talk to someone who has one, and is willing to spend a few minutes with me on the phone.

I have some specific questions about the furnace and some of the settings. I have talked to the company direct, but hoping someone has one that can answer me some specific questions. Troubleshooting some specific questions I have.

Please call anytime. 507-313-1210. Ask for Dave
