Thanks for the input. I have had (5) ignitors replaced, thermocouples, thermocouple covers, (2) baffle plates, and modified the original firepot, then a new version of latest firepot. This over the last (3) years. We purchased this unit in January of 2007.

Ran really good at the beginning of this year from October until 3 days ago. Pellets would not ignite and figured it was the ignitor, ordered another ignitor and still wouldn't work. Tested the ignitor and was fine. Tested the wire from motherboard to ignitor terminals and no power. Tested power at the motherboard and no power during startup. Checked the fuse inside the cover to the motherboard and was fine. So, i'm assuming the failure is this part of the motherboard.

I have two dealerships within 1 hour. The first dealership told me $ 480.00 not including labor (which i can do myself, but won't due to any warranty issues after installation which i found out was only under warranty for 90 days anyways), the other told me $ 1,100, not including labor.

I can run it on manual (meaning torch the pellets for 10 seconds after autoclean) which is better than nothing. However, this means every 2-1/2 hours manually re-lighting new pellets.

Any thoughts...other than buying and having a new motherboard installed?

Has anyone had to replace their motherboard for their AE Mount Vernon pellet stove?
