I'm using the dual fuel system. Dual trouble???
nooo. Heating about 8000sqf. shop and house and avg. 5 bushels. It takes a couple of min to change, take the stirrer out, lift lever, pull pin. done. We use it a primary heatsource with no backup so being able to use to different things sounds better to me. First year we had some problems with the firestar, needed 2 units until it finally worked, so we were on wood for a couple of months cause CB were not shipping to Canada
cause of parts shortage:dry: now she works like a charm. This year we burned beanstraw until end of Nov. before switching over to corn, cheap,cheap, I have some more for the spring and also a couple of hundred seed skids form my seedsupplyer. That should help keep the costs down a little.
