Ok,
I have the thing apart and I did break 1 manifold bolt with the allen head that ties into the exhaust box that is hooked to the fan. The sensor of course looks just fine but I'm thinking I need to order a new one and one of those manifold bolts if anyone knows where I could buy one?
replace the sensor and go from there.
Thanks

Took the back filter off and the hose off and the light shines right through...No obstructions. The pipe goes straight out then makes a 90 degree turn up for 8 feet or so then a 90 degree turn out the house for a foot or so. I can feel the outside air coming in the pipe as I have the stove off of it and I only installed this unit last year so the pipe and all is only 1 season old. Where do I find this sensor and how would I know if its bad? Any other ideas?
Thanks

Ok,
Tried your advice and held my hand on the end of the exhaust pipe as my wife turned the stove on. Heard the fan kick on and the air starting flowing out the exhaust pipe but light #6 came on and it would not ignite. Not comfortable with electricity so I can't wire it direct. What next? Can this be caused by built up soot or ash? What should I try?
Thanks

I have lights 2 and 6 coming on when I try to light my stove. Now light 6 is blinking by itself and it says to contact dealer but there is no such thing that I know of. Any tips on how to fix the exhaust fan? I can hear the fan start up when I switch it from off to on but then it won't light and just shuts down as the light 6 or lights 6 and 2 come on. I am in the omaha nebraska area and have yet to find someone that knows how to work on these things. Any tips would be great.
Thanks

When I turn it on I can hear the exhaust fan start and the unit shuts down before it will light and the fan continues to run for a bit even after I shut it off like normal.
I have 1 90 degree elbow turning the pipe up for 9 feet then a 90 that turns it out of my house. I had the stove off the exhaust pipe to check for blockage and it looked ok and there was cold air traveling through the pipe so I knew it wasn't blocked.
I removed the two plates that cover the tubes a couple weeks ago to clean the tubes but I'm not sure how to clean the back of the tubes? I brushed them up and down and across the bottom. Is there more to do there that would cause this to happen?

I've got a problem with Light #6 coming on and shutting my stove down before it gets a chance to start. From what I've read etc it is an exhaust fan issue of sorts or something in the connection or sensor. I'd really like to get it running asap but I am not terribly handy with it. Any good referral for technicians in Omaha, NE or tips that I could try? I have really enjoyed this stove but finding someone to work on it isn't easy.
Thanks

Hello everyone,
I have a bixby pellet stove that I burn wood pellets in. Recently Light #6 started flashing and kicks on everytime I try starting the stove and shuts it down. I know it's an exhaust fan problem but I don't know if it's mechanical or something tripping a sensor. I live in Omaha, NE and have had a hard time finding an expert to work on it and I'm not exactly the type to be able to diagnose it myself. Any suggestions for this, or do you know anyone in this area that specializes in this equipment?
Also, recently I have noticed the side of my house is now black so I'm wondering what's causing the soot to blow up on it and do this.
thanks
Nate
