I don't have everything listed individually on the website but if there is anything anyone needs, just let me know. I didn't want to get things lost in the clutter so I just listed the most used on the site.

I have pretty much everything is stock and decent quantities of the most used.

Parts shouldn't be a big problem. The augers and firepots are really the only parts manufactured by Nesco. I have a metal fabricator here in town that will make anything that is needed. Of course, makeing large enough quantities to make fabrication economical is probably the issue. I am working on some new ideas in exhaust venting that might be available by summer if summer ever arrives.

Hi:

This is Bruce fromn Sparta Coop. At 200 degrees it might not be hot enough to completely burn the wood residue not matter if it is soft or hardwood pellets. If the residue is not gray and very loose ash, then it is burning too cool.

Hello:

Remove the left side panel (facing the stove front) and you will see what the picture attached shows. If you look on the right side of the auger motor and where the auger shaft goes into the auger tube, you will see a phillips head screw through the auger tube that holds the auger in place. Remove the screw and work the motor and auger out. The brass bushing that the auger shaft goes through can get enough dirt in it to prevent it from turning. Put the plug in a vise. Use penetrating oil and work it back and forth by hand to get it loose (it can take some time and patience to accomplish this). When loose, slide it apart and dry it off so it isn't wet because that will draw dirt right back in. When dry, we use dry graphite as a lubricant.

I have found that if you roll a piece of cardboard the right size to cover the inside of the exhaust tube and tape to secure the size, it will keep the magnet from sticking to the side wall of the exhaust tube and make the plug install much easier.

The key to using this properly is controlling the air flow to the burning pot. Adjusting the air flow screw is mandatory. The Amaizablaze is a simple stove, easy to run. The difference between the Amaizablaze and many of the others is how easy or difficult it is to adjust the air. I am currently playing with my 4100 at home with the new kit on it. I am trying to get the air screw adjusted to the air flow for lighting and then am using a rheostat to adjust the air flow down as it gets going so I don't burn the fuel too fast. Make sure it is a rheostat that is designed to control a motor. I am using the same rheostat that controls the room blower fan on the Amaizablaze stove.

Here's a picture but not a good one. A little shaky this morning. But you can see that instead of pointing the exhaust outlet straight up, it is more toward horizontal. From the fan on the back of the stove we put on a 3 inch pipe adapter and then a 90 degree. From there it was just straight pipe out through the wall. Our showroom is in an old building with 8 inch cement block walls. This works but moves the stove over to the side to accomodate the horizontal length of the pipe. So if you have room to move the stove to the right or left a little you can use this method.

Upon further review, if you can move your stove a little to the left or right, you could run our fan turned to output the exhaust horizontally and then a 90 degree elbow to go out the house. It might also require a larger hole in the wall depending on the pipe and thimble combination that you use. We are in a block building for our showroom and have one set up this way and it works fine.

If you want to go out through the same hole you have been using directly behind the stove, the Amaizablaze kit is your only option.

Here is a picture for you after you take the left side panel (facing the front of your 7100). This should help you.

The motor/fan unit we are using is the same that is used in many pellet stoves and has been for years. We used a couple different configurations of this unit last winter on our stoves in our showroom and had no problems. We aren't taking something new and trying to make it work, we are taking something tried and true and configuring it to work on the Amaizablaze stove.

Just another note on the design. If you look on our website, you notice the exhaust outlet pointing up. We were especially looking to improve results for those in a basement environment that had to go up and out the sill plate. That's were we were seeing exhaust pipe failures. Without the cold air coming in against the piping, it will last for a much longer time. The secret is to make sure you are using a piping system and thimble that is designed for this type of use, UL rated for safety.

The other place this unit would be perfect for is in an install where you want to go up 3 feet or more behind the stove with the exhaust pipe to gain some draft in case of a power outage. This would help take the majority of the smoke out through the exhaust pipe instead of backing up into the house. Many stove manufacturers recommend this type of installation.

I'm Bruce from Sparta Coop. Nesco does have four different part numbers for multi-fuel kits. The 3 kits that are for each individual model stove are basiclly the same except for the 2 cold air return pipe sizes and the 4100 and the 7100 having the addition of a multi-fuel auger. The motor, fan, housing back as far as the wall thimble are the same. The problems we were having had to do with the SS inner exhaust pipe going bad on longer runs and the motor on the outside of the house going bad. We then had a customer that wanted to use one in a shop and didn't want to use outside air for combustion. Using the fireplace style multi-fuel kit we got him up and going and it worked great. Got to thinking that would solve some of our other problems and thus the development of the multi-fuel setup some of you have seen on our website. If you are retrofitting and want to put the exhaust out the same thimble as for corn burning, you need to use the Amaizablaze kit for your stove. As far as the noise of the motor on the inside of the house, pretty much a non-issue. If you have seen the condition of a motor on the outside of the house after a year's use versus the condition of a motor that has been on the inside and not had exhaust fumes going over the unit, you would see the huge difference.
