Parts shouldn't be a big problem. The augers and firepots are really the only parts manufactured by Nesco. I have a metal fabricator here in town that will make anything that is needed. Of course, makeing large enough quantities to make fabrication economical is probably the issue. I am working on some new ideas in exhaust venting that might be available by summer if summer ever arrives.

Wow... that was fast. I guess it comes down to 1 masher every three weeks or a new mesh applied after every clinker. Decisions decisions. You are running a really hot fire. Hotter than I expected.

I have a 800 watt inverter, a deep cell battery and I have only used once in 8 years, knock on wood. It won't ignite the stove, but it will run it well, motors seem to run just a little slower, you can hear a lower pitch in them. My stove only requires 400 watts to run.

Place the nails in the tips of the masher. You can take your heavy wire and wrap it around the nails and make your own masher that will last longer.
