I use the fiberglass rods,still the same ones,over 25 years old and still going. I clean 2 times during the heating season,then 1 cleaning after the season.

Its easy to do. On my sons we disconnect the pipe and run a shop vac, then run the brush trough on a small cable that came with it. He has the Bixby 115.
I burn wood and I just use the 8 inch brush on 3 rods and don't seem to have any problems. Been doing it for over 25 years and still useing the same setup.

Just wanting to say hi to all the great people here.
From Central Ohio. Retired almost 3 years. Trying to relax and enjoy myself,but seems that I do even more now than before. Trying to learn a little about diffrent types of altenet types of heating.
