Thanks to everyone for your comments. Found the problem, I have a 90 degree bend in my exhaust pipe. I had ash buildup in the turn that I was not getting clean, (probably for the last 3 years) got a big hunk out and now it is working great.
Thanks again.. Glad I don't have to try and remove the burn pot. That looked like a bit of a job. All the holes in the burn pot looked good anyway.

I have not removed the burn pot to check the holes in it. How hard it that to do. Sounds like a job for this weekend.
I do run a choke cable hooked to a cordless drill during each cleaning.
I removed the cumbustion fan last year to clean.
I cleaned the exhaust pipe in the spring and also again this fall when I started having the issues.
I question if some of the holes in the burn pot may be plugged. Some of the holes that I cannot see.
Thanks for the comments.

When it shuts down, I get the error code 3 for a proof of fire issue. I am questioning that due to the lack of air, the fire may not be getting hot enough for the proof of fire switch.

Hopefully someone can help.
I am on year 4 with my revolution. Thought I cleaned is well last spring. Have cleaned it a number of times this year already even though, it has not ran too much.
My issues out of the gate this year are that it will not complete the start up process completely. It will start, the fire will light but when it finishes start up and starts taking fuel from the main hopper, it will shut down. When I do it again, it will work. Can the proof of fire switch be partially faulty?
My second issue may be causing the first issue. It appears that I am not getting enought air to the fire. The flame is high and lazy and is creating a lot of black residue. I am only on program 1 and the firepot is running close to 2/3 - 3/4 full, so it appears it is not burning fast enought even on this setting. I have cleaned everywhere I can think of twice.
Any comments would be appreciated.

You are right... Patience is key especially with these furnaces. Not sure I have it burning best yet. Your comment are spot on.

I have burned wood pellets, corn and cherry pits and various combinations of the 3. I use 100% cherry pits until the weather gets too cold, then I usually use a mix of corn and pits. All have burned just fine. The cherry pits do have more ash to deal with.
I get the cherry pits from a local processor and dry them myself, so my cost is minimal when burning pits.

My father has this stove. This is his first year with this stove. So far everything seems to be working fine, except when I did not get the burn pot properly seated after dumping!!!

Corny, I am not sure if a pellet grill is the right thing, but the gas grill I have now doesn't heat very evenly, so maybe it is time for something differently.
The food looks great on the other posts.

Can anyone give me advice about a pellet or corn grill. I have done a little research, but not sure if this is a good way to go.
