They say the 050 will heat 1500 sq house but I can't with mine if it get down into single digits....I did put a fan in back to help the blower out and it does help, I will not buy another St Croix.....

glad to hear you got it unplugged. Good Luck not bad having a spare. I checked to see if they had bigger motor for blower, they didn't but it was 500. for the one in there. I am not sure if squirel cage came with or not but damn that's alot.....

I have a question about the 050 Thermostat, and that is I have the heat level on 4 and switched the slector switch to thermostat. I turned down the thermostat so the stove would go into pilot mode. The 2 light (which is the on/off button) is blicking on and off. The feed light come on when is drops pellets in, so it looks like everything is good there? When it calls for heat will the stove start off feeding pellets at the 4 rate or will it work up to the 4 rate. What do you guys have yours on and what do you think is the Best way to set it??

That is so true, but here in Wisconsin they are trying to recall a Gov and are signing the ballets as much as 80 times. What happened to one person one vote??

Got heat coming now and thanks all. I changed burn pots and shut off air intake (the one that mixes air/fuel). Then brought it back slowly. They said the intake should have been set pretty close at the factory but it was way way off. I was damn near blowing the pellets right out of the burn pot. It has that safety switch that if it is not burning hot enough it will not feed the pellets in fast enough to build a hot fire. More or less keeps in very high pilot. They do take fine tuning. but it keeps the house at 70 on 3 so that should work. I have to hook it up to thermostat and then it should be ready for winter.

what St. Croix do you have and was your feed rate to slow?

I can't get any amount of heat out of the 050. It looks like it's not feeding enough pellets. Any help would be excellent..
