Would that be the cause for the black on the window? That's the only thing we can think of..

Has anyone found that pellet quality changes from year to year? We had 18 bags left from last year and they burned fine window stayed clean. We just started burning from our new supply, and found the window turning black on the sides. Plus the burn pot seems to have more ash. Can the pellet quality change that much? We are using the same brand. The new batch of pellets look darker and have a shine to them. thanks if any one can answer.

We have used the same brand for 3 years now. This year the pellets look darker, and have a shine to them. The seem to burn hotter...Is this possible? Do pellets burn different in differnt runs?

Propane pre-buy here is going to be 2.14 a gallon this winter...pellets are going to be 210.00 a ton delivered...

Just got a letter from my pellet company, that they will be charging and additional 25.00 a ton to deliver it! I need 5 ton for next winter...

After 3 calls to US Stove I think we have it! With the draft set 1 number above the heat setting, it seems to be running fine now...I sure hope that is it..the window stays clean and it burns a lot cleaner. Hope that gets us through 1 more month of burning...Thanks...

We have done that, cleaned the stove inside and out. Plus took the pipe apart and cleaned that. I'm not sure what to do next...
