I finally have our stove dialed in and it has worked flawlessly for over 30 days now.
As unconventional as these settings seem compaired to what I have seen on this forum, I am running the exhaust at +2 and the feed rate at 0. I have a 115 and am burning wood pellets, in the 6 years I have owned the stove it has never ran better!

It is actually the 1,5,6,7 lights blinking after rechecking. Yes exhaust fan runs when the door is open. Sensor is tight and feed wheel motor mounts are good.

Yes, I replaced the exhaust fan and the touchpad last year, also replaced the feeder wheel gasket. I am running 2.71

My stove was running great until last evening, I turned the stove off because it was very warm in the house,I went to turn the stove back on and it would not do anything, I unplugged the stove and plugged it back in and it shows a steady 2 light for about 5 seconds and then goes to a 2,5,6,7 light for about 5 seconds and then goes to a flashing 2. The convection fan runs the entire time but at differant speeds...the #2 flashing light goes for about 20 minutes then it goes through a ash dump cycle and turns off. It will not turn back on when I hit the off/on button unless I unplug the stove then it goes into the mode described above.....anyone have any idea's ???

Hi Rona, from reading the forum it sounds like maybe 2.71 is what I should download and be using if I am going to be burning pellets. I appreciate your offer. My stove is on a good surge suppressor so that shouldnt be an issue but one never knows. Thank you for your help!

I do have a kind gentleman sending me a touchpad to try out, after my expirence this evening with a rather large fire in the ashpan not sure I even want to fire things back up at this time, until I try the touchpad. I do not have bixcheck software or the cable to check things out but am certainly considering it if the touchpad does not work. When I fire things back up I will keep track of the LED on the motherboard and keep you informed. I am amazed at all the good information and the willingness of people to offer their assistance on this forum, thank you all very much. I will let you know how the touchpad works out. Thanks again.

No I am not using a thermostat, and I don't believe 2.71 was installed, I had asked when I sent it in if I should have 2.71 installed and the response was no, 2.71 seems to have its own issues. We almost always use setting #1.The stove ran pellets the entire year last year, with the switch on corn and had no issues. Going back to the exhaust fan replacemnt about 3 weeks ago, replaced fan because of a #6 error reading, the small metal fan was turning on the shaft, allen screws were rusted severly so could not take fan assembly apart so opted to replace entire fan. No more #6 error but definetly get the frequent ash dump and now the phantom start. The thermal couple wire is on J18 on the motherboard like it should be, it does seem to be a bit loose though. Thank you all very much for your suggestions, they are greatly appreciated.

Actually ran the stove today for a couple of hours and things worked just fine...we are having nice weather today so turned the stove off about 5:30 pm..we were watching tv about 20 minutes ago (7:30 pm) and out of the blue the stove started on its own, now that really has us a bit worried. It is running on #1 and seems to be running just fine...now on top of the random frequent ash dumps it is starting on it's own. Sent both boards in last week to get checked out and they checked out fine, has anyone else had issues similar to these? Am totally confused at this point.

Cleaned out under feeder wheel, burning pellets, exhaust at -3 and feed rate at +3, the thermo couple on exhaust was removed but thought I siliconed it back into its original position with red RTV silicone. The fire seems more than adequate during start up and the stove gets fairly warm but then does an ash dump after just a few minutes. Is now blinking 2 and 3 lights. The corn/wood switch has never worked for me, I always have left it in the corn position.

First post here, new to the forum but need help! I have had a bixby 115 for the past 5 winters but am now having some unexplained issues that I could use assistance with. During the start up cycle of the stove the ash dump cycle dumps the ashs after about 5 minutes of the stove running, the stove then goes back into the start up mode and again dumps the ashs shortly after starting, it will keep doing this cycle and dumping hot ashes as long as I will let it run. To date the exhaust fan has recently been replaced, both boards where sent in to be checked out and calibrated, I have replaced the ashpan gasket but all to no avail, the stove continues to go into this cycle. If the stove sits for a couple of days, it might start up and run for several hours and then go back into the ash dump mode. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you for a great forum, I have learned alot on how to maintain my Bixby from this forum.
